TNEA Cut Off

Anna University releases the TNEA Cut Off for admission to various engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The cut offs are made under seven categories namely Open Competition (OC), Backward Class (BC), Backward Class Muslim (BCM), Most Backward Class & Denotified Communities (MBC/DNC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars) (SCA) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).

How to check TNEA Cut Off

The steps to check the TNEA Cut Off are as follows.

  • Go to the official website and search for the cut offs Or click on the link given on this page.
  • Now, select Community, enter the Captcha and click on the Submit button.
  • Now, either check the cut offs from the lists of colleges shown or search by District, Branch Or Code.
  • Then click the Select button in front of the college name.
  • Now, you will be able to check the TNEA Cut Off.

Allocation of Seats

Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST reservation following the rules of reservation of Government of Tamil Nadu as follows.

  • Open Competition – 31%
  • Backward Class – 26.50%
  • Backward Class Muslim – 3.50%
  • Most Backward Class & Denotified Communities – 20%
  • Scheduled Caste – 15%
  • Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars) – 3%
  • Scheduled Tribes – 1%
